12 Dimensions Critical Reflection

Part 1

D1:context formal and informal is for example wearing the right clothes that suits the place as we can't wear shorts for collage because that conceders informal.

D2:'expression" revel and conceal is showing your emotions and hiding them for example crying in front of people is revel your emotion.

D3:" destiny" directed and directive is making your own choices or letting your environment making you choose the next step in your life.

D4:"planning" time and people is choosing between one of them for example attending a meeting will you cancel it due to a reason with your friend or you will stick with time.

Part 2:

As for describing weather I agree or not for my questionnaire results. I did agree with some results and didn't with the other results, I learned how to put people in categories and how I act and react on some things I think that it was really useful to open our minds on how the world is going. I didn’t know but now I do. I can tell if people stick on time or follow people, I can tell everyone by what the 12 dimension showed me, and most importantly I know myself more now.

Part 3:

since I follow directive more not directed ill follow think is right or wrong if I feel that I have to change few things I'll do it but so far I'll stick to what I am because that is my personality and I know myself since the day I got born that I act and react on the same concept. I wouldn’t mind changing to directed but that depends on my environment if it didn’t change, as in if am still living in the UAE with the same culture nothing will change but for example if I moved outside my country for Sure I will have to Some changes.

There are many dimensions that are available in this article, the dimension that I realize it is

(Outlook) polarity (innovation) because they want to change and develop the future of UAE and the second dimension that I realize it is (Decision-Making)  polarity (rule) because that is show type of suggestion that people must choose who going to be a prime minister and the last dimension is (growth)  polarity (people)  because they want to develop and improve  the people, not another thing.

1- On revolution and revolts: The dimension is accountability and the polarity is community because it was discussing the humanly and how it is affecting the status around us.

2- On legalizing divorce: The dimension is outlook and the polarity is outlook because he was talking about dress and how it was before.

3- On materialism: The dimension is destiny and the polarity is directed because they think that their future is not in our hand, but it is in god hand.  

4- The dimension is communication and the polarity is direct because he is speaking directly with the  person.

5- On global consumption: The dimension is connecting and the polarity is inclusive because they are thinking on a more open level not on a specific people.

6- On ending conflict: The dimension is accountability and the polarity community because he was not only focusing on specific people, but he mentioned that all community must have it.

7- On staying humble in office: The dimension is context and the polarity is informal because he  prefers to use fewer formalities and not using titles and other common protocols.

8- On the redistribution of wealth: The dimension is growth and the polarity Personal because he was focusing on how to develop the person.

9- On age: The dimension is expression and the polarity is reveal because he was talking freely about his ages.

10- On addiction: The dimension is communication and the polarity is direct because he was talking direct.

11- On being called the world’s poorest president: The dimension is outlook and the polarity is tradition because he was talking about the past.

12- On donating 90% of his salary to charity: The dimension is accountability and the polarity is individual because he was talking about himself.

13- On his goals for Uruguay: The dimension is status and the polarity is achieved because he has a goal in his mind and he will trying to get it.

14- On being a president: The dimension is communication and the polarity is direct because he was explaining how to be a president and what are the things are needs to do it.

15- On the secret to happiness: The dimension is destiny and the polarity is directive because his life is his choose and he is happy he like it.

3. When he gets on the train, he cannot find an empty seat. How is this problem

There is a boy was sitting in the train and he let Todd sit thin the boy sit on Todd leg. It might be a cultural solution because in Indian cultural they respect the older people.

4. As any exchange student, he has a lot of experiences trying new food. His first
encounter is with an iced drink. What happens?

He buy an iced drink and he feels sick after drink it. 

7. Todd wants to check in to a hotel. But Puro insists he comes to a boarding house.
What is the reason he gives Todd?

 Because the place of the hotel is very lonely.

8. As soon as they meet, Aunti Ji starts asking very intimate questions that
Americans who have just met would never ask. What kind of things does she ask?

She asked him a lot of question and it was a personal questions.

How does culture/ and the 12 Dimensions influence:


 culture and the 12 Dimensions influence on many things such as the life choices because every one has he's own choices in the life and how he is thinking and sense of group. I going to write about the Amish model. Firstly how the Amish model influence on the life choices
Amish people have a limited choices and thay like to live in peace and in a simple way of living. However they thinking about things is so different than the rest people that what Make them different. They have a gun but they don't like to use it because they faith that how gave the life he is the only one have the right to take it. All Amish believe that large families are a blessing from God so they like to live together as a one group they don't like to live in individual .
Over all, I know that Amish people don't like to use cars but they use horses instead of cars even they don't have electricity in there home because they believed that it's useless and cause a problems.

How the Arabic culture influence our choices?


The Arabic culture influence in our choices in many things. Like Example we can't eat or drink any like alcohol and eat the pig meat because it is against our religion and our culture.

Exercise 3

1-Graham: He was enjoy his time in India because he was from India.

2-Mrs. Greenslad was able to avoid the conflict, she started to look up for a job to keep her life busy.

3-Mr.Donnely was unable to avoid the conflict, she refused to open herself up to the Indian culture.

4-  Mr. Ainslie, he adapt because he tried to communicate with indian people.

5-Mrs.Hardcastle: She was unable to avoid the conflict. Her room was not as she was expecting, so she started to look for a new one.

6-Mr.Ainslie was able to avoid the conflict, his wife refused to go out with him so he left alone.

Exercise 2

I personally learn towards honor and shame, reasons behind that is because we were born and raised with this culture around. I respect my family what people think about me will be effecting my family. I always want to bring honor to the ones who thought me everything and doing something bad will bring shame to them, and that is our biggest concerns. That's close to my second choice which is innocent and guilt but its individual, but i won't feel guilty more then I'll be scared to bring shame to my family. Last thing which is power and fear. I partner myself to the right people so I don't fear the people who are higher then me. 

First of all I think that's it a very Dangerous sport and I don't like it because thay kill the animal in a very ugly way and it's not fear for it thay should kill it in peace not like this. I dont know how people like it and thay enjoying watching it i hope in the future the government will not allow them to do this.
